About
Me
My philosophy has always been that it’s more about the journey than about the destination and it’s been a helluva journey thus far!

I was born in South Africa and after travelling extensively I settled down in the UK to raise a family and build a career in marketing. Along the way art has always occupied a corner of my life where I could retreat from a frenetic career to express my creativity, think and recharge.

This became especially important when the pandemic hit and my world came crashing down after a cancer diagnosis in 2020. I was one of the lucky ones though and I was diagnosed early enough and after treatment I started to put together a life that I didn’t need to retreat from.

This art practice is that life.

I’m drawing on the rich textures and colours of my childhood in Africa, the different sights and experiences of my travels and experimenting with mediums and styles that I never thought I’d be brave enough to try.

What has emerged from this experimentation thus far is that I’m hooked on resin as a medium and I’m inspired by the natural world, hence my new Gems Collection which is based on semi-precious stones and rock formations. They are all utterly unique and endlessly fascinating to translate into abstract resin art.

I hope you will join me on this journey of discovery and experimentation.
